Correctly designed fixtures will maximize furnace loading whilst allowing for uniform and consistent treatment of components.
This results in lower furnace running costs, reduced expenditure per part processed and most importantly, an overall cost saving to the customer.
PSS Technologies offers fixtures in Stainless and Inconel alloys for lower temperature heat treatment applications, as well as carbon fibre composite (CFC) and molybdenum fixtures for high temperature vacuum furnace processes. We also offer fixturing solutions with built in ceramics to prevent contact reactions (eutectic melting) between components and CFC above 1050c.
